Human rights and fundamental freedoms are, or should be, key components of planning and deploying Policing in the EU. Better understanding of their core characteristics will inevitably result to better protection of the rights of the European citizens and all those subject to European law.
Tailor made lectures to the needs of the police personnel will assist them in realising the core characteristics of human rights and fundamental freedoms, as well as some of their aspects and the virtual effect of police management and police practice on them. Moreover, they will re-evaluate the meaning of “police ethics” and its practical aspects and they will learn how the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of the EU interprets rights and freedoms for the benefit of the subjects of the European law.
The webinar is addressed to Law Enforcement Officials (police, customs, coast guard, judicial, etc).
