The aim of the webinars is to improve law enforcement capabilities to detect and prevent new forms and threats to the online radicalisation process and the development of extremist propaganda during the global pandemic crisis.

By the end of the webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Highlight the main challenges and threats that the pandemic situation represents for the online radicalisation process;
  • Analyse how extremist groups misuse the COVID-19 pandemic situation and implement this phenomenon in the propaganda material and rhetoric, in an online and offline environment;
  • Recognise and discuss the opportunities for a proactive approach to prevent and fight this phenomenon.
Target Audience: 

Advanced practitioners and investigators coming from Counterterrorism and Organised Crime Units.
