Disruptions to CEPOL Activities

Due to the continuing volcano activity in Iceland, the following CEPOL activities have been effected. Please be advised of the following:
CEPOL Course 58/2010 Management of Diversity (47/2009) organised by Cyprus and due to start today, has been postponed. The revised date will be communicated as soon as it has been confirmed.
The Budget and Administration Committee meeting (due to take place at Bramshill, United Kingdom on 21 April) has been merged with the Strategy Committee meeting taking place at Bramshill on 5 May 2010. Items on both agendas will be held jointly.
The CEPOL Secretariat has been working hard over the weekend to find alternative means of transport for the Annual Programme Committee members who were stranded on Friday and to assist course organisers in Denmark and Slovakia to help get their participants home.
A decision will be taken by mid-week with regards to the planned CEPOL courses next week.
