Forensic students visit CEPOL

On 12 May 2015, CEPOL welcomed a students’ delegation from the Enschede Saxion University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands. The delegation was part of SV. IDent, a students’ association bringing together students from the forensics and crime sciences. The visit was organised in the framework of the university’s annual tours to foreign countries. This initiative aims at extending students’ known information into unknown regions and outside the academic field.

CEPOL welcomes Executive Director of Frontex

Mr. Fabrice Leggeri, Executive Director of Frontex, the EU agency for the management of operational cooperation at the external borders of the European Union, visited CEPOL’s headquarters in Budapest, Hungary on 10 April. The purpose of this meeting was to develop further cooperation in cross cutting issues such as counter terrorism, illegal immigration and trafficking in human beings.
