From 4 to 6 February 2015, CEPOL hosted a residential course on the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). Experts from all 28 EU Members States and from Norway along with specialists from the European Commission, FRONTEX, the IOM and UNMIL as well medical experts addressed the issue of Ebola virus from a law enforcement perspective.

Murderous terrorist attack in Paris

Dr Bánfi declared: “I am deeply shocked and horrified by the murderous attack committed this morning in Paris against the newspaper Charlie Hebdo, which has killed at least twelve persons, including two police officers.

On behalf of CEPOL, I would like to convey my heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families, as well as our wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured.

Our thoughts are with the French in this terrible situation”.
