Albanian police officers enhance their knowledge on online investigations with CEPOL training course

Within the frame of the Partnership against Crime and Terrorism project in the Western Balkans, CEPOL delivered a training course on online investigations, open-source intelligence and the dark web to Albanian law enforcement authorities. The five-day long activity took place in Tirana this December.

CEPOL’s EMISA network paves the way for more effective terrorism prevention

CEPOL’s Counter-Terrorism Information Exchange and Criminal Justice Responses project (CT INFLOW) ignited this year the creation of the EU-MENA Information Sharing and Analysis Network (EMISA) to build a strong, long-standing network of experts who work closely to exchange experiences, good practices and discuss counter-terrorism related challenges on a regular basis.

CEPOL organises study visit to Rome for law enforcement officers from Eastern Partnership countries

Seven law enforcement officers from Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine gained insights on criminal finances, money laundering and facilitation of asset recovery within the frame of a study visit to the Guardia di Finanza police headquarters in Rome, Italy. Participants from the Eastern Partnership countries had the opportunity to spend time at the departments specialising in the area of combating money laundering and cryptocurrencies, as well as international police cooperation and financial investigations.
