Our agency aims to constantly improve and enrich its training portfolio with the most advanced learning methods and elaborate on the most pertinent topics. Montserrat Marin Lopez, CEPOL Executive Director, highlighted how CEPOL responds to emerging training needs:
Our aim is to equip law enforcement officials with the latest knowledge, methods, and tools to support them in their daily work of keeping the EU and its citizens safe. To help them stay ahead of crime even when it comes to the newest crime trends, our training portfolio is agile. This year, for the second time, we launched a call to receive proposals for training activities addressing emerging needs. Via this initiative, we will be delivering three additional onsite courses: Hybrid Threats, Maximise the Use of AI tools-Europol Tool Repository, and Pan-European Football Security.
CEPOL employs a blended learning approach, a multi-step programme combining various forms of training that complement each other, both online and onsite. CEPOL training and learning activities encourage the development of competencies that are vital for the internal security of the Union, promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences, and support the development of a common EU law enforcement culture by fostering long-lasting professional networks. Moreover, CEPOL activities provide opportunities to stay up to date with the latest European and international developments and trends in the law enforcement field, especially concerning cross-border, serious and organised crime.
Law enforcement officials who would be interested to gain access to our training opportunities, whether onsite or online, must be registered users in LEEd, the agency’s Law Enforcement Education platform. LEEd has been recently rebuilt and upgraded to a newer version, ensuring improved performance and security.
We invite you to visit our website regularly for the latest updates on our upcoming onsite and online activities and get in touch with your local CEPOL National Unit / CEPOL National Contact Point for more details. More information on how to apply for training is available here.
