84/2016 INTERPOL Police Development Program for NCBs in Europe
The INTERPOL Police Development Programme for NCBs in Europe (IPDP/NCBs-EUR) is jointly organized by INTERPOL’s Capacity Building and Training Directorate and European Police College - CEPOL, in line with the Cooperation Agreement between INTERPOL and CEPOL.
The programme aims to develop participant’s understanding of INTERPOL tools and services, international Police Cooperation, reinforce the use of I-24/7 systems and improve their presentation skills.
The objectives of the course are:
- to increase knowledge about INTERPOL's tools and services;
- to provide knowledge about INTERPOL’s e-Learning Course on “Information Security Awareness”;
- to expand I-24/7 expertise in order to enable participants to give guidance and advice to national users, and to introduce new components of I-24/7 and I-link;
- to share best practices in international police co-operation, particularly in the handling of INTERPOL notices and the exchange of information;
- to provide better understanding of General Secretariat projects linked to regional countries, as well as to local, regional, and international institutions.
