Montserrat MARÍN LÓPEZ

The Executive Director of CEPOL, Montserrat Marín López has held various leading operational and strategic roles for 26 years in a wide range of policing areas such as forensics, public safety, money laundering, drug trafficking, and irregular migration. Prior to joining the agency, since 2017, she had been serving in Spain as Commissioner of Police. Ms. Marín López, who has broad experience in police training and education, studied Psychology and holds several Master’s degrees in different law enforcement fields. In 2019, she graduated with honours from the CEPOL European Joint Master Programme.
