3007/2023/WEB 'Interoperability (Art. 20 + Art. 22)'

The aim of the webinar is to raise awareness among law enforcement officials about the new features that will be available through interoperability and the use of interoperability for identification and improved law enforcement access.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

• Explain the purpose, content and the use of Art. 20: Use of the Common Identity Repository for identification purposes, and by whom it can be used;

• Explain the purpose, content and the use of Art. 22: Use of the Common Identity Repository to facilitate law enforcement access to the EU Information Systems and by whom it can be used;

• List the legal requirements to ensure law enforcement access to the EES, ETIAS, VIS.
