The aim of this webinar is to provide insight on the issue of foreign terrorist fighters and high risk individuals in specific conflict zones to outline a preventive strategy based on international cooperation.

This webinar is implemented by the CEPOL Knowledge Centre on counter-terrorism.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

• Explain the high-risk problem of international foreign terrorist fighters (FTF) operating in insurgency and conflict zones;
• Describe high-risks and threats posed by FTF to the global security and the security of the EU in particular;
• Indicate mechanisms and tools to counteract, notably on the preventative setting.
