3053/2025/WEB ‘e-Justice Communication via Online Data Exchange (e-CODEX)’

The aim of this webinar is to provide a deeper insight on e-CODEX – which stands for e-Justice Communication via Online Data Exchange – which is a decentralised IT system that provides an interoperable solution for cross-border exchange of judiciary data (both criminal and civil law), thus allowing all Member States to communicate with each other using their existing national systems.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

• Explain the role and importance of the EU’s digital infrastructure in facilitating secure cross-border communication in justice;
• Describe the key services and functionalities of e-CODEX;
• Identify the main national and European actors involved in cross-border legal procedures and understand how they interact.
