47/2025/ONS: Countering financing of terrorism and the use of cryptocurrencies

The aim of this onsite activity is to:

• equip law enforcement officers, counter-terrorism investigators, and financial intelligence professionals with advanced knowledge and practical skills to identify, analyse, and disrupt the financing of terrorism and violent extremism;
• emphasise modern challenges such as the misuse of cryptocurrencies, emerging payment technologies, and the exploitation of conflict zones;
• foster collaboration and enhance investigative techniques;
• promote the application of lessons learned from real-world cases.

This activity is implemented by the CEPOL Knowledge Centre on Counter-terrorism.
