ActivitySIS for SIRENE
This updated online module helps to provide SIRENE Bureaux operators with the knowledge and skills they require in their daily work. It aims to complement their national training, strengthen the quality of cooperation between the SIRENE Bureaux and support the effective use of SIS.
This new version incorporates the changes brought in by the new SIS regulations and, in particular, the new rules on the exchange of supplementary information found in the new SIRENE Manual. This includes the new SIRENE forms, the new procedures on the exchange of supplementary information related to all the SIS alert categories, the revised consultation procedures for alerts on return and refusal of entry and stay, and the exchange of supplementary information with Europol.
The module consists of an introductory chapter, 18 topic chapters and a glossary of terms and abbreviations related to SIS and SIRENE functioning. There are also quizzes to test your knowledge and understanding. A certificate and a badge will be provided to those who successfully complete all the quizzes.
