Webinar 3016/2022: Missing trader intra community fraud
The aim of the webinar is to present the interlinks between excise fraud and missing trader intra community (MTIC) fraud and other crimes (polycriminality) and to introduce latest trending VAT margin fraud scheme, explain the overall mechanism, share the investigation experience, hardships as well as a tips.
Upon completion of the activity the participants will be able to:
- Recognise interlinks between excise fraud and MTIC fraud and other crimes (polycriminality);
- Recognise MTIC fraud related to alcohol products;
- Enhance related inter-agency cooperation and multidisciplinary approach.
